Watch as John Caub of Only in Japan goes on a tasting tour to Ponshukan, a sake stall located just around the Japan Railways (JR) Echigo Yuzawa Station, an 80-minute ride from Tokyo.
Initially known as the sake museum in the area, Ponshukan is visited by many who loves to try the Japanese rice wine through its vending machines. The tasting costs only 500 yen for five tries. And there are around 120 sakes you can choose from; so imagine more than a hundred of vending machines that offer the goodness of Japan's official country drink.
