Koenji Awa Odori Festival is known to be Tokyo's major event annually held every summer.
And with festival comes numerous sets of foods. That said, a variety of mouth-watering Japanese traditional and street foods is seen being prepared and sold during the festival, such as yakisoba (Japanese stir fry noodles), takoyaki (ball-shaped Japanese snack made of wheat flour-based batter), yakitori (Japanese skewered chicken), Hiroshima okonomiyaki, salt-grilled ayu (sweetfish), fried spaghetti, butter potato, choco banana, and more.
