DaveTrippin goes to Gyu Kaku, a popular food chain in Japan, to taste the Japanese way of barbecue (BBQ), one of the popular grilled-meat dishes worldwide.
It is called yakiniku, and the term is given by Japanese writer Kanagaki Robun in his literature, Seiyo Ryoritsu ("Western Food handbook"), during Meiji period in the year 1872.
Apart from yakiniku, they also tried their version of Korean salted and fermented vegetable side-dish called kimchi and tried their main course with a lemon sauce.
