Daifuku is basically a mochi that is filled with filling. It consists of a glutinous and chewy rice paste filled made with azuki bean paste, strawberry and any sometimes a whole strawberry fruit. There are different kinds of daifuku and here are as follows:
* Daifuku aisu - a daifuku filled with ice cream
* Toasted daifuku - A daifuku toasted in the oven
* Match daifuku - This one is filled with matcha
* Sakura daifuku - A daifuku mochi made with sakura (cherry blossom petals and white bean paste)
* Ume daifuku - A daifuku filled with ume (a sour fruit similar to plum and apricot) paste
* Yomogi daifuku - A daifuku made with herb or called as yomogi. It tastes grassy.
* Strawberry daifuku - Made with red bean paste and strawberry
* Cream cheese daifuku - Made with lemon juice and cream cheese
* Ice cream daifuku - Filled with vanilla ice cream
