Coffee jelly is among the mouthwatering desserts you can find in Japanese cafes and restaurants or Japanese themed restaurants and bar in your country. Basically, coffee jelly is made up of jelled coffee topped with milk vanilla syrup. This recipe is easy to make and affordable too. To make Coffee Jelly here is the recipe:
* 1 can cream
* 5 cups of water
* unflavored gelatin
* 1/2 cup of sugar or sugar substitute
* 1 can of condensed milk
* 2 tbsp of instant coffee
Ingredients:
1. Boil 3 cups of water in a saucepot or teapot. Add the coffee powder and stir.
2. Using a large bowl, pour the gelatin and leave it to stand for 1 minute until the gelatin settles to the bottom.
3. Heat the water-gelatin mixture in a medium-size pot.
4. Gradually add the coffee-water mixture into the gelatin and stir.
5. Leave the gelatin to cool for an hour.
6. Refrigerate the gelatin form 2 to 3 hours.
7. Cut the coffee-jelly into cubes and then serve in a cup topped with cream and condensed milk.
