Patissier, Aoki Sadaharu, experimented on the well-loved Japanese snack, takoyaki. She placed pieces of chocolate cake inside each takoyaki ball, together with bits of octopus. She then poured a generous amount of chocolate and sprinkled some macarons on top.
How perfect could these be for Valentines? Have something salty and sweet for the coming February 14!
