DOLE has been pioneering two innovative items for the past two years. In 2016, the popular fruit manufacturing company launched the "Low-Brix Banana," a banana fruit which is less sweet and more intended to and enjoyed by the people who do exercise.

But another revolutionary project was unfolded in 2017, as DOLE launched BANAPEN, the first pen that enables you to write characters on a banana skin; thus, taking the fruit to a new level, more than just being the typical or conventional feeding item.
