Japanese food is known for being served fresh and visually appetizing. On the other hand, airplane food is usually instant or reheated. So what happens when the food in the airplane is Japanese food?
All Nippon Airways, the largest airline in Japan, offers Japanese and international cuisine on their menu. Mike Chen, a Youtuber, flew All Nippon Airways ANA business class flights from San Francisco to Tokyo, Japan. Surprisingly, he found the food to be pretty decent.
A wide selection of food was offered on the menu. Appetizers of tofu and bamboo shots as well as shrimp and mullet roe were available. Salmon, rice and tofu soup for the main course. Cheesecake, mochi, and cream puffs were served for dessert. Lastly, of course, there was ramen, the most flavorful and fresh tasting of all the food Chen ordered.
