The kimono, a traditional Japanese garment, was once an everyday wardrobe for the Japanese. Today, less and less people wear the garment since the Western culture has vastly influenced the country's style in fashion.
Koito Taro, a kimono master designer, aims to bring this unfortunate circumstance to a halt by designing beautiful kimonos, both for formal and casual wear. Taro ensures that every kimono is made by Katagami Zome, a method of kimono making wherein the design is manually handdrawn in a plan. Next is the dyeing process and the steam. A few more processes and the kimono is finally done.
