Onitsuka Tiger was founded in 1949 by Kihachiro Onitsuka, making it one of the oldest shoe companies in Japan.  It was first established in Kobe. The brand’s first product was a basketball shoe.

Onitsuka Tiger shoes are known for their retro style and athletic purpose. The company produces shoes for sports such as football, running, cheerleading, wrestling, and even martial arts. But of course, they also design shoes for casual wear. 

The most famous design of their shoes is the Mexico 66 line, which features the iconic ASICS crossed stripes. It was developed in 1966 before the Mexico Games.

Aside from shoes, Onitsuka Tiger also sells accessories and clothing.
