Nigo has actually created a name not only in the fashion industry but also in the music scene. Being a DJ, he has actually long been associated with artists like Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. 

But what gave him a name in the world of fashion is his own clothing line which he called A Bathing Ape or more popularly known as Bape. His designs instantly became a hit among teenagers. Following the hype on Bape, he launched Bapesta, the sneaker line of his Ape. Together with Pharrell Williams, he has also helped in the Billionaire Boys Club and the Ice Cream footwear lines.
