Nicola Formichetti is a fashion revolutionary.

Nicola Formichetti is an Italian-Japanese fashion director who is currently based in Tokyo. He started out as a stylist for stars. He first worked for the magazine Daze and Confused, but in 2009, he collaborated with Lady Gaga on a shoot for V Magazine which landed him fashion superstardom. He then became Lady Gaga's personal design director. He was also the fashion editor for Vogue Hommes Japan until 2012. In April 2013, he was appointed as the artistic director of multibiliion Italian denim company, Diesel. He remains as the fashion director Uniqlo.

He is known as a fashion iconoclast who prioritizes rebellious youth-driven imagery.
