Fukubukuros are Japan's lucky new year bags, which costs less compared to the total amount of the items inside the bag. Companies usually do this to dispose of supplies not sold within the year before.

Featured in this "unpacking" video by Youtuber Kim Dao are two famous clothing brands in Japan: INGNI and Rienda.

The INGNI bag cost roughly around 10,800 yen. The first item she got from the bag already costs 11,800 yen and there were a total of 12 items inside.

The Rienda bag cost roughly the same, with the first item at around 11,500 yen already.
