Angelic Pretty is a Japanese clothing brand that focuses on lolita-style clothing.

Lolita is a subculture that originated from Japan. It is influenced by Victorian and Edwardian style. Hence, lolita fashion is all about being elegant and modest. There are many sub-types of lolita including sweet lolita. Common staples in a lolita’s wardrobe are petticoats, cupcake-shaped skirts, and lacey blouses. 

Angelic Pretty was founded in 1979, and it was originally called “Pretty.” It changed to its current name in 2001. It provides Lolita items, primarily for sweet Lolitas, who wear light pastel colors and focus on cuteness. The brand promises to fulfill a girl’s dream of becoming a princess through their garments and accessories.
