Yuki Doro Matsuri

This is another snow festival featuring Yuki Toro (snow lanterns) which are sculpted in the shape of traditional Japanese stone lanterns called "ishidoro". If the other festivals prides their huge snow sculptures, Aomori has 300 illuminated miniature igloos.
