Yokote Kamakura

A kamakura is a small hut that's molded from snow. This event has spanned for four centuries and it is specially made for the following: water, water gods, and praying for more clear water. During the 2 day celebration, children can be seen around, inviting people to enter the Kamakura to chat and eat rice cakes and other sweets.
