Yayoi Festival

This festival signals the start of Spring season in Nikko. They welcome the season with parade of 11 floats adorned with cherry blossoms, called hana-yatai, from each town. The traditional exchange of greetings in the name card is done on the last day of the festival, by the heads of the town.
