It's summer time! Go out and witness how Tokyo ablaze the summer heat with Ueno Natsu Matsuri! The five-week event consists of various events and celebrations taking around Shinobazuni-ike Pond at the center of Ueno Park. Each day, various events can be joined such as antiques market, lantern floating festival, and ice sculpture display. There will also be a 500m stretch of parade in Chuo Dori starting from Ueno Park on July 23, starting at 17:30. The variety parade will feature 38 teams of dancers from traditional to samba.
