The Takigi-O-Noh is a musical drama that is performed on a specially-built stage outside the Kofukuji Temple. Described as an elegantly spiritual event, the act done around a bonfire and it serves as the light in night's darkness. It is also one of Japan's longest-running traditions, as it was first held in 869.
