The Ya Ya Matsuri is also known as Quarreling Festival. For 300 years, groups of men wearing white clothing rush and clash their bodies while having fun in seaside town of Owase in Mie prefecture. Few "chosen" dip into the freezing waters of the bay as an act of purification.
