Omizutori is a annual Buddhist Festival held in Nara to welcome the Spring season. The festival has several rituals and ceremonies that lasts for two weeks. There are large torches lit outside the Nigatsudo Hall at Todaijo Temple each night. it is a brave thing to do during the festival since the Nigatsudo hall is made completely of wood.
