The Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) is Japan’s premier professional baseball league. In Japan, it is referred to as Puro Yakyu, which means professional baseball. Like its counterpart, it is divided into two groups, particularly the Central and Pacific League. NPB’s regular season calendar spans from late March to late September. The playoffs, on the other hand, will start in early October and end later during the month.
