Pop Japan

With a history that stretches hundreds of years, the Gujo Odori is one of Japan's most well-known dance festivals. Over the course of the 55-day event, a wide variety of dances can be seen. It showcases various styles of dances from different influences throughout the years, and all are accompanied by rhytmic tunes from classic wooden clogs that are being knocked on the ground. The event continues to attract tourists not only from other parts of Japan, but from all over the world as well.
