Fukuro Matsuri (Ikebukuro Festival)

Fukuro Matsuri is another dance festival and contest. It started out as a promotional event for the four shopping districts of Ikebukuro Station, and it grew to be one of the largest festivals taking place in Ikebukuro. There are mikoshi parades, traditional dances and music, and followed by Tokyo Yosakoi dance competition.

Dates are not confirmed. The festival usually starts late September to Mid October.
