Daito Ohara Mizu-kake Matsuri

Daito Ohara Mizu-kake Matsuri is a water-pouring ritual at Ohara Hachiman Shrine. Ages of 42 and 25 are considered unlucky, so they are the main participants in this 350-year celebration. About 300 half-naked men purified in a ritual run in the streets while the townsfolk throw cold water at them.
