It is one of the popular tourist spots in Yamanashi City because of its great view of Yamanashi Basin and Mt. Fuji. In fact, this park is now included as one of the new three major night views in Japan.
Yamanashi City is well-known as the land of fruits in Japan. Therefore, all kinds of fresh fruits and attractions related to fruits is located in the park.
The main attraction of the park is the Fruit Museum that exhibits the history of fruits through the centuries in Japan, around the world and most especially in the Yamanashi Prefecture. This museum is mostly popular to kids.
Next is the Fruit Plaza, a 10 meter high semi-circular glass dome where concerts and events are usually held. There is also a theater for the visitors to see a musical production, with a representation of dancing fruits and sometimes it shows a educational fim about fruits.
Above the theater is a Greenhouse that displays tropical fruit trees. There's also a fruit workshop, a library, a large gift shop, a fruit restaurant and a garden.

From Kofu Station, take JR Chuo Line and get off at Yamanashishi Station. Then, take a local bus to Fuefukigawa Fruits Koen.
