Yakusugi Land

Yakusugi Land is a nature park mainly consist by a number of yakusugi, a giant Yakushima Cedars trees. It is one of the main attraction in the Yakushima Island. The nature park is located in the middle of Yukushima with an altitude from 1000m to 1300m.

Things to see

Enjoy the great nature of Yakushima by participating in the hiking course that usually takes for 3 hours. Several courses are offered suited for beginners -and experts for hiking.

Travel Notes

From the Anbo Town, there are two buses per day that serve to the Yakusugi Land. Once you ride the bus, get off the Yakusugi Land.

It opens 8:30 to 16:30 It has no closing days Admission fee is 300 Yen
