Considered to be the largest indoor baseball stadium in the Land of the Rising Sun, the Tokyo Dome boasts of having the capacity to accommodate up to a maximum of around 55, 000 people.
Also known as the Big Egg, the area became the home field of Tokyo's professional baseball team, the Yomiuri Giants.
However, the place is not only for baseball and other sporting events. It has also been a proud roof that housed some of the phenomenal artists of the world. Japanese artists like L'Arc~en~Ciel and X Japan had their concerts here. Some of the biggest international names who performed were Bon Jovi, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Celine Dion and Michael Jackson.

Tokyo Dome is around 8 minutes from Marunochi Subway Line at the Tokyo Station. It can also be reached through the JR Chuo Line at around 10 minutes. Travellers can also reach it through the Shinjuku Station of the yellow JR Chuo Line at around 15 minutes.
