Tobu Zoo is Saitama's largest leisure facility, that has an amusement park and zoo. The zoo zone provides a variety of attractions on a regular basis enabling visitors to pet and feed docile animals including ring-tailed lemurs, a rare species in Japan.
The amusement zone offers a variety of attractions as well, and is equipped with many pleasant facilities ranging from high-speed equipment to a classic merry-go-round.
There are approximately 120 species in Tobu Zoo with a total of 1200 animals including a rare species of white tigers. Visitors can feed and interact with the animals.
The park also features Pleasure Land that let the visitors enjoy a variety of rides all day.
The park also has this leisure pool complex including a pool with waves, folowing water, slides and a pool for kids.
From Shibuya - Take the train at Hanzomon Line and get off at Tobu Zoo
From Tochigi - Take the express train on the Tobu Nikko Line at Tochigi Station and transfer at Minamikurihashi Station to the Tobu Skytree Line.
From Tobu Dobutsu Koen Station - Get off the train at Tobu Dobutsu Koen Station on the Tobu Skytree Line and take the west exit.
The park opens at 10:00 to 16:30.
It is closed during Monday on June, Monday and Tuesdays on December to February, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
Admission fee is 1700 Yen, One Day Pass cost 4800 Yen (admission fee + unlimited ride pass) and pool charge cost 2400 Yen. Note: Only available in Summer.
