Want to experience like you're strolling around space?

Space World would be a great idea! Space World is a major amusement park located in Kitakyushu in the island of Kyushu. It was built by Nippon Steel in 1990. The park is still very popular from the day it was opened until now.

Things to see

Space World has over 30 attractions with thrilling rides. One highlight would be the "Venus GP", a roller coaster that twist and turns around a huge space ship making a 360 degree loop. The Space Eye, Kyushu's tallest ferris wheel and the 7 storey high Imax Theater, are also considered as the park's best asset

4D simulators, family oriented rides, theater shows, carnival game stands can also be found inside the park.

Travel Notes

Space World is a 5-10 minute walk from JR Space World Station, which is located along the JR Kagoshima Main Line and can be accessed from either Kokura Stationor Fukuoka's Hakata Station.

Admission

Opening hours of Space World are not fixed, before visiting, refer to Space World Website (http://www.spaceworld.co.jp/) But typically, it opens from 10:00 to 16:30 during the low season and from 9:00 to 21:00 during peak season.
Closing days also depends on the season.
Admission fee is 4420 Yen for unlimited rides.
