Shuzenji Onsen is among the oldest and arguably the most renowned hot spring resort in all of Izu Peninsula. With its rich history and appealing interior, its been consistently getting a big amount of visitors and great reviews.

Their name taken after Shuzenji Temple, a very respected temple located at the center of the town.
It was founded by Kobo Dashi 1000+ years ago, a key figure in Japan's religion history.

Travel Notes
