If ever you're in the West side area of Mt. Fuji, why not consider passing by the Shiraito Falls that is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Japan?

In 1936, the waterfall was chosen to be a Natural Monument. The water that flows down is from the spring water of Mt. Fuji.

Things to see

While on your way to the Shiraito Falls, you will also pass by the nearby Otodame falls as well as different gift shops.

During summer, the waterfalls is filled with winter snow from Mt. Fuji and green foliage during autumn.

Enjoy the waterfall in all seasons!

Travel Notes

Ride the bus between Shin-Fuji Station , Fujinomiya Station and the Fuji Five Lakes. The bus stops at the Shiraito Falls.

Admission

The base of the waterfall is accessible from the road by the walkways for just a few minutes.

Best season to visit is during summer!
