If you love hot springs, this is definitely a perfect spot for you.

Located in Kusatsu, Gunma Prefecture, this park is consisted of several hot springs and outdoor baths. Hot springs can be seen throughout this valley in warm streams up to the central mountain stream.

Aside from the hot spring, expect a natural beauty of the ambiance of this place. A must-visit!

Things to see

Sainokawara Rotemburo is the park's main attracion. It is a hot spring consisting of two large hotspring that separated by gender. The hot spring can be filled with 100 people each.

After bathing, visitors can stroll around the park in several walking trails just around the upper part of the park and witness a natural landscape of the place.

Travel Notes

From the JR Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi station, ride a bus bound to Kusatsu Onsen and get off at Kusatsu Bus Terminal. From there, the park is just a 15-20-minute walk.

Admission

Visitors can visit the park anytime. But several hot spring has their own opening hours and admission fee.

The popular attraction, Sainokawara Rotemburo opens at 7:00 to 20:00. It has no closing days. Admission fee is 600 Yen.
