Since their inception in 2003, the Osaka Museum of History have consistently provided their visitors an exhibit of historical items from the city.
The museum features a great part of the city's rich history, from the ancient times up to the modern. In addition, it's also among the most visited museums, not only in Osaka, but in Japan as well.
Their collection include the Age of the Naniwa Palace, the Age of the Hongan-ji Temple, and the Age of Greater Osaka.
Here are some things to remember for first-time visitors:
- The top floors offer an awesome view of the castles.
- The lower floors are for food, while the higher floors are for the gallery of collection and whatnot.
It's a 5-10-minute walk to the est of Tanimachiyonchome Station (Subway Tanimachi Line)
It is opened from 9:30am to 6:00pm.
