Thanks to having a world-class facility, variety of sea creatures, and beautiful interior, the Osaka Aquarium is regarded as a leading aquarium park in Japan — being in the popular and commercialized city of Osaka also helped a lot.
A total of 15 tanks can be seen throughout the park, and every single one is used to represent particular parts of the Pacific Rim.
One of the most-loved spots in the park is the central tank, which represents the Pacific Ocean. In there is a massive whale shark and it is roughly 30 feet deep.
Be ready to be amazed by some large tanks. Some are so big that it extends to a couple of floors. It will allow you to watch the sea creatures in various angles.
It's a 10-13-minute walk to the northwest of Osakako Station (Subway Chuo Line)
It is open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
