The Ohori Park is a classic park in Fukuoka. Located in the prefecture's central area, it's one of their most prized possesion, thanks in large part to its simply relaxing vibe.
According to its creators, their key inspiration in designing and engineering the park was the timeless style China's West Lake.
What makes Odori Park endeared by many is its relaxing atmosphere. Though it can be a bit crowded at times, their sights can still provide calmness.
Along with those qualities is the huge pond at the very center of the park, which has three beautiful islands and stone bridges.
It's 1 kilometer southeast of Tojimmachi Station (Subway Airport Line)
It is opened from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Notes: From July to August, except on Sundays and national holidays, the opening extends to 7:30 pm
