A museum located in Kagoshima Prefecture that exhibits the history of Kagoshima during the Edo Period and mainly the Meiji Restoration by using high tech displays using robots, dioramas, videos and lights with easy to follow formats.

Things to see

Robots of heroes in the Meiji Restoration can often see inside the museum, such as Saigo Takamori and Okubo Toshimichi.

Some attraction includes hand on experience of the "Goju education" and some other exhibitions such as the Atsuhime section.

While inside the museum, visitors can have an audio guide in English and in Japanese.

It's a 8-12-minute walk from the JR Kagoshima-chuo Station.

Admission

The admission gate opens at 9:00 - 17:00. No closing days Admission fee is 300 Yen for the adults and 150 Yen for children.
