Mount Inasa or Inasayama in Japanese is a 333 meter high mountain located to the west of central Nagasaki city. The mountain is best known for its breathtaking overlooking view of the city of Nagasaki and considered one of Japan's three best night views.
The summit of the mountain can be reached by ropeway, bus or a car.
Observation Deck with restaurant can be found in the summit of mountain where visitors can enjoy the amazing view of the city while eating and chatting with friends or family.
If you want to enjoy a more amazing view, it is recommended to take the glass-paneled gondola ropeway up to the summit.
Located in mountain rage lies the Mt. Inasa Park. It is popular for its beautiful cherry blossoms and azalea plants. Azalea Festival is also held in this park during spring.
It's a 23-30-minute walk to the north of Inasa Takeshi Station (Nagasaki Ropeway)
The ropeway cost 720 Yen for one way and 1230 Yen for round trip and it is operating from 9:00 to 22:00. Note that is has a maintenance in early December.
If you are travelling with your car, parking is available at the summit, the fee is 100 Yen. Taxi ride is also available for 2000 Yen for one way.
