The Minoo Park is a valley/forest in the outer parts of Osaka. They are notable in the whole Kansai Region because of their unique, natural, and colorful autumn sights.
It is also quite accesible. From the main part of Osaka's busy, crowded metro, the park is only 30-40 minutes away.
Their central hiking trail is roughly three kilometers, which goes from the Hankyu Minoo Station and will eventually lead to the Minoo Waterfall. In the first phases of the hike, temples, shops, facilities, and various structures will be seen, while the last few phases are trees and nature.
Here are the things to look forward to:
- Minoo Waterfall (It's 33 meters high and considered as the park's main attraction)
- Ryunanji Temple
- Momji Tempura (maple leaves deep fried in batter)
Take a train in the Hankyu Takarazuka Line and go off on the Hankyu Umeda Station. Once there, transfer to the Hankyu Minoo Line and go off on the Minoo Station.
The park is open 24 hours a day.
