The Mazda Motor Corporation was founded in Hiroshima, Japan in 1920 where the headquarters are also situated. The museum can be found nearby the ground of Mazda's Hiroshima Plant.
The Mazda Museum exhibits special cars produces by Mazda Motor over the years including company history and the manufacturing process.
Automobile fans will have so much fun visiting this museum in Hiroshima. At the entrance, latest models of Mazda vehicles awaits the visitors and sometimes it holds special events. Along the museum, visitor can also find a wall that indicates the history of Mazda since 1920 up to the present. Historic vehicles are also found in this corner.
Other attractions includes letting the visitors witness the vehicles manufacturing that can be seen from the observation deck of the museum.
There is also a shop located in the museum that sells Mazda merchandise like t-shirts, cap, key chains, miniature of Mazda cars.
Take a train from the Sanyo or Kure line and get off at Mukainada Station. From there, it will be a 5-10-0inute walk from the train's south exit.
Visiting the museum requires a reservation via phone or email. Tours are held everyday except weekends and holidays. It has 2 different tours; the English tours that starts at 10:00 and the Japanese tour that starts at 13:30. It can take 90 minutes.
The tour is free of charge, but reservation is required.
