The 131 meter Kyoto Tower is considered as the landmark of Kyoto and the tallest constructed structure in the Kyoto area completed in 1964.

Things to see

The tower features an observation deck located 100 meters above the ground that will give the visitor a panoramic view of Kyoto. Also, the tower stands on a commercial building that contains shops, restaurant, public onsen and a hotel.

Travel Notes

The tower just stand on the north side of Kyoto Station.

Admission

The viewing platform of the tower opens at 9:00 to 21:00. It has no closing days. Admission fee is 770 Yen.
