This is one of the most beautiful flower parks in Japan, a sanctuary of flowers in different hues, forming a carpet of spring flowers together. Among the 500 species grown here, various flowers grown in different seasons. Tulips in the spring, lavenders in the early summer, cosmos in the autumn are blooming, to mention some.
It's also like visiting two attractions at a time, because the park is surrounded by a grandiose mountain range.
There are varieties of facilities and amenities to discover so visitors can enjoy the park for the whole day. There are shops, cafes and restaurants you can try.
Most of the time, spend your hours on the flower fields and take lots of beautiful photos.
The nearest station is Bungo Taketa station, on the Hohi Main Line operated by JR Kyushu in Taketa. From there, you can ride a taxi or a car to the flower park.
The garden is open daily from 8:30 to 17:30 except for the months of Mid-December to February (winter season).
Admission fee: Adults/High school students 1,300yen; Children(5 years old and over)500yen; Seniors (70 years old and over) 1100yen. There are also discounts for groups: 800yen, 300 Yen and 700 yen, respectively.
