Kinosaki Onsen is a town built along the river. It is one of Japan's quintessential onsen destinations and has been a home to different hot springs that were discovered in the 8th century.
The charming old-fashioned style and features of this town have been developed and can still be seen up to now. One of the highlights of this place is a stroll around the town wearing yukata and geta provided by them while you visit numerous public baths, game arcades, enjoying crab or Tajima steak at a traditional Japanese inn or just seeing the scenery, culture, and atmosphere of old Japan.
