Marked as Japan's longest deck arch bridge with its length of 360 meters, 11.5 in width and 120 meters in height. The bridge was opened on October 1995 and since then, the bridge is famous because of its amazing scenic view most especially during autumn season when the surrounding of the bridge is filled with colorful leaves or koyo. Another perfect spot for autumn leaves viewing!
Be completely amazed in the bridge surroundings by strolling around and witness one of Japan's viewing spot. The view of Hakkoda and Aomori city can be viewed here.
From Aomori Station, take the JR bus to Towadako and get off at the Jogakura Onsen stop. From there, the bridge will be a 20-30-minute walk.
The bridge is open to the public anytime. If you're travelling with a car, several parking slots are also available around the bridge. Ready your feet for a long walking experience!
