Japan Rural Toy Museum

Japan Rural Toy Museum or Nihon Kyodo Gangu-Kan holds a large collection of old toys in Japan. It has 5,000 toys on display and over 40,000 on its attached store, which visitors can purchase as souvenirs.

Children of all ages will love the vintage toys, including dolls, kites, lucky charms, paper mache, miniatures and games from across Japan.

The museum's shop also sells maneki neko (cats with raised paw), and daruma dolls. It is also few walks away from Honmachi-dori and Ivy Square.

The museum is 10 minutes on foot from JR Kurashiki Station.

Admission

The museum opens from 9:00 to 17:00. With admission fee of 400 yen for adults and 200 yen for children.
