Dedicated for the uprise of contemporary artists and their works, Hara Museum of Contemporary Art exhibits and brings the best crafts of Japanese and international artists to enthusiasts. The museum was once a private property of a business tycoon Kunizo Hara.
The museum also holds events such as lectures, live music performances to promote the young and upcoming modern artists and magnetize people to visit.

The museum is just 15-minutes away from Shinagawa Station on foot.
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It extends to 8:00 PM on Wednesdays, except on National Holidays. It also opens on Mondays, if it's a National Holiday (and closes on the following day).
Admission fee is 1,100 for regular visitors, 700 Yen for high school and university students, and 500 yen for elementary and junior high school students.
