Gunma Flower Park

Inhale fresh air in this beautiful park with thousands and thousands of different kinds of flowers althrough out the year. Flowers bloom at different times of the year, so there is something beautiful to explore in all season.
This park is located near Maebashi in the south side of Mt. Akagi that is mainly consisted of flower beds scattered in the 184,000-square-meter area.
The whole family will surely enjoy the place!

Things to see
Flatopia or the flowerbed will welcome the visitors once enter the park. Its 6,000 square meter area with various flowers that changes throughout the year depending on the season. Behind Flatopia is the 18-meter Park Tower that can be climb by the visitors to get a glimpse of Mt. Fuji.
There are 5 greenhouses in the park with different themes that includes tropical plants house, a begonia house, a cactus house, an orchid house, and event house where events are usually held.
Aside from the beautiful view of nature, the park also offers handicraft classes for both adults and children. Gift shops and restaurants can also be found around the park.
Travel Notes
Take a train from the Jomo Dentetsu Line and get off at Ogo Station. Along the station are buses that are bound to the park - the ride may take 15-25 minutes.
Admission
The park is open all year round. (No closing days) It opens 9:00 to 17:00 from March to November, 9:00 to 18:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from March to October and 10:00 to 17:00 from December to February.
Admission fee depends on the season of flower bloom. From March to November, fee is 700 Yen and from December to February, fee is 500 Yen.
