Flower Park Kagoshima

Near the southern tip of the Satsuma Peninsula sits the Flower Park Kagoshima with almost half a million plants with more than 2400 different varieties.
Not like other flower parks, this park has other kinds from tropical regions all over the world such as Brazil, Australia and South Africa.

The flower park is divided into three main sections; The Floral Zone, the Breezy Zone and the Brilliant Zone. The Floral Zone is the main area that includes variety of flowers both indoor and outdoor settings, the Breezy Zone is an open space that let's you feel the ambiance of the ocean wind and the Brilliant Zone is where the most beautiful points in the park.
There are several walkways in which you can stroll around and feel the wind.
Free shuttle bus is also available that travels through the park for every 40 minutes.

From JR Ibusuki Station, ride a bus bound for Kaimon Station and drop off to Flower Park Kagoshima.

The park opens at 9:00 to 17:00
It is closed on December 30 to 31
