Ever wonder where in the world is this place where the houses looked like they are in Dragon Ball?
Kumamoto Prefecture welcomes you to Aso Farm Land where you can stay, eat, play, and have fun! Here, you can experience animal encounters where you can play with them or feed them. There are also fun activities for kids like fishing, making Japanese sweets, art, and music.
You can also stay in these dome huts. After playing in the athletic playground with kids, enjoy bathing in the in-house onsen to fully energize and revitalize your physique.
The farm land is just within the Aso Kuju National Park which you can also explore.
The nearest station is JR Kyushu Akamizu Station. It's also just 30 minutes away by car from Kumamoto Airport.
The park is open 7am - 10pm for visitors.
Admission fee is free but amenities have separate fees: Genki no Mori 900 yen; Aso Healthy Volcanic Spa 800 yen.
(Note: Due to the massive earthquake struck in Kumamoto last April, and Aso as its epicenter, the landmark is still under reconstruction.)
