Fruits in Japan could be very expensive. Here's an interesting news, though: the farm experts in Japan found a new way of cultivating impeccable fruits, as well as vegetables, to attract more buyers.
The craze started off when square/cube watermelons were surged in the market. These watermelons are grown in a cube mold, until the fruit reaches the desired size and followed the shape of the mold.
Due to its success, growing different shapes of watermelons was also tried, such as heart, pyramid, and even a face!
And then the citrus fruit followed the fad...
So instead of carving or sculpting the fruit, it is more peculiar seeing pears shaped like little Buddha figures!
And now, the heart and star shape mold kit for cucumber will add more joy to our salad.
Does it stir your interest in having your own cucumber or watermelon plantation? Well, why not?
